Andre traveled to Cambodia for 3 weeks in the summer of 2011 to help teach English at the Khemara Kidshelp School (KKS) as a volunteer. This experience was so special to him that he volunteered at KKS two more times (in 2012 for 3 weeks and in 2015 for 2 months). After he was able to get to know and accompany the projects of Kidshelp Kambodscha e.V. on site several times, he first became a member of the association and finally was elected to the board in 2019. Andre travels to Cambodia at regular intervals to see the progress of the various projects on site.
